A little history…

In Spring 2014, the Game Dev. and Arts club started off as a committee under the Davis Computer Science Club. As of Fall 2016, we became our own independent club in order to better tailor the operations of the club to the needs of the members. Since then, we have been able to offer workshops on how to make games (using various engines and frameworks), we’ve had 8 game jams (including 1 global game jam!), and have provided professional opportunities to members. We strive to continue to help members grow not only as game developers, artists, writers, and musicians — but as professionals in the community.

We’ve worked with various Professors and organizations, such as ModLab, VictrLab, and other independent researchers. If there is a paid/unit project offered, don’t hesitate to contact us for consultation and collaborations!
